Studio Updates: What’s New for our 2025 Brides

Vancuterie is gearing up for the 2025 bridal season. We have lots of new services we are providing and getting ready for our expansion. Over the past 18 months, Vancuterie has gone through many evolutions, but we have landed at the perfect place.

What have we changed? Quite a bit! Over the past 18 months we have been rigorously evaluating our processes. What we discovered is that the initial stage of pressing flowers provides the backbone to your completed flower preservation. Full scale deconstruction provides us with so many intricate and specialized pieces of the flowers that typically go unused. Fitting examples of this include stamens, leaves, and stems. By focusing so closely on the deconstruction and pressing of your flowers has allowed us to create designs with increased the complexity and beauty.

Our color correction has dramatically improved. Daphne is currently taking painting classes once a week to improve her technique, specifically color blending. Color correction is a specialized technique that enhances the color of your pressed flowers. Typically, during the pressing process, there is significant color drainage from the petals. Our focus now with color correction is enhancing the color with shading and blending. You should be able to see the variegations of your flower through color correction. We pride ourselves on being one of the leading color correction specialists in the United States. We stand by this statement!

Ben, Daphne’s husband, has joined Vancuterie in a full-time capacity! These two love birds are now co-workers! Ben’s focus is on production, detailing, and framing. With an educational background in engineering and career spent on creating manufacturing processes, his knowledge has dramatically changed the way we are able to press and create a preservation piece in a timelier manner. In addition, we have hired two part-time flower pressers. With the increase in staff, this frees us up to work on highly quality designs and focus on new product development.

In 2024, we were able to press almost three hundred bridal bouquets, in 2025 our goal is to double that number. How are we going to do that?

1.      Our website has recently been updated and is now a more user-friendly experience.

2.      We have a variety of products aligned at price points for everyone.

3.      We have implemented payment plans to help accommodate with your finances. We get it, weddings are expensive.

4.      We have increased our product selection. We now offer resin add-ons, bridal bouquet recreations, mats, museum glass, and custom framing.

If having your bridal bouquet is something that you have been wanting to do, now is the time! Ordering ahead of time ensures your spot in the queue and avoids a late booking fee. Drop us a message and let’s talk, flower pressing is all we think about! We remain committed to providing you with the most innovative and quality floral preservation designs available on the market.

Make sure to check out website and social media for the most current updates. Stay tuned for a big reveal next week! Bridal couture big!

Flower pressing for the win,

Daphne
